Consultation has concluded
The Arvada Festivals Commission (AFC) hosts 5 festivals per year for the Arvada community to enjoy. The AFC's goal is to create and sustain festivals that are characteristic of Arvada.
Each year we get together to discuss how to make our festivals bigger and better or if we should add a new one! In preparation for that meeting, we're reaching out to you, members of the Arvada community, to find out what YOU would like to see for the future of festivals in Arvada.

Environment/Earth Day Festival
Something to provide sustainability and environmental education in a fun way! Could have bike events, tips on reduce/reuse/recycle, stuff for kids (and adults) to learn about our local wildlife, gardening demos etc.

Adult festival with music and beer
If you don’t have kids, the existing festivals are not entertaining. Have a music festival with a concert lineup in McIlvoy Park. Don’t worry about making every festival kid friendly. South Pearl Street has music and beer festivals like this that err done very well.

Smaller, special interest festivals
If parking and field capacity make it difficult to find venues that will accommodate bigger festivals, maybe smaller special interest festivals held in neighborhood parks so people can bicycle/walk to them would be a good option!
