    Magical Mornings

    by MostlySunny, 10 days ago
On winter mornings often we look out our windows and discover that our sidewalks and often our drive have been magically cleared of snow by one of our kind and hardworking neighbors. We so appreciate his efforts to help several of us and and it is lovely to see others joining in and helping too.

    Stuck in Snow

by Rachael Smallwood, 10 days ago

During this winter’s storm, I came so close to making it home, but got stuck just down the street. My neighbors came out to dig me out, and to push the car down the street. We helped dig someone out, and had general neighborly merriment romping around in the snow.

    by dino, 11 days ago
I and everyone in Arvada share in the morning of the gallant officer who used ambushed by that idiot. My question is does anybody care for the individual who had concealed carry and came to the officer's aid and shot the idiot who was getting ready to kill more officer's with an AR-15. Unfortunately the individual who would have been praised as a hero was shot by Arvadas finest in the confusion. He should by training I received getting my concealed carry permit should of kicked the AR-15 away from the idiot.

I did not know the brave individual but... Continue reading

    Community

by Reno Park!, 11 days ago
I was recently walking through the square from the library to SWP (as I have done countless times) and noticed an officer walking around chatting with folks in the square. It got my attention because this officer was interacting with a person who is experiencing homelessness, and instead of trying to move him along out of the square he was just chatting with him and checking in. I still feel sad when I walk through the square and this small show of respect and inclusiveness was restorative.
