We loved the Santa meet and greet and the holiday farmers market! Would love to see the Christmas tree replaced. We enjoy the craft markets and local vendors throughout the year. Live music would be great too.

Hi all, Didn't see a general tab for speaking up, so this is random, but actually tied in with the holidays, since OldeTown Square is the central hub. With the tree falling in the square, this is the time to rethink this area - Arvada has a water problem which will only become worse without restrictions and stringent guidelines for xeroscaping on all new residential/businesses with incentives for reducing grass/water intensive plants in established residential/busiesses. Stay with me - make the area where the tree was into a xeriscaped area, to expose citizens to how beautiful it can be along with dedicating that area to Johnny Hurley. The tree falling was a sign, so let's take the time to consider the possibilities!

Christmas has been a long-standing tradition in my family, and so Christmas lights and the "Charlie Brown Christmas" soundtrack and etc. evoke a lot of nostalgia, and I get together every year with family to open presents. Recently, I have also been observing Yule or the winter solstice; burning a candle or maybe some incense, something simple just to mark the changing of the seasons.
